We selected Cornerstone Builders to remodel our 1970s kitchen. Allen’s ideas enabled a creative use of our space, resulting in a final design that was modern and open. We love our new kitchen! In particular, our custom cabinets make a beautiful statement as well as providing a more efficient work and storage area. Cornerstone Builders is simply the best contract building company we have ever contracted with. We needed to add a main floor master bedroom and bath so we found Cornerstone had aging-in-place certification. Allen, the owner, and his designer, Chris, listened carefully and offered different solutions for the new room. It took a few design iterations to add in other requests like an additional small full bath and a redesign of a laundry area, but, in the end, we were very happy with the result. When some unexpected issues arose, Allen was always very responsive, and his team immediately worked to resolve problems. Zoe, Ian, and Rodney were friendly, hard-working, and very professional in their work ethic. Allen's tile, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and cabinet subcontractors were expert craftsmen, professional, and responsible, which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend Cornerstone Builders for any remodel and addition project. We will be using them in the future for other smaller projects We now live almost exclusively on our main floor, with no more stairs to have to worry about. The master addition is just lovely, the new deck is gorgeous, the laundry area is perfect, and I love having an extra bathroom for guests! Thank you, Cornerstone.

We had a great experience with Allen and his team on our kitchen remodel and would highly recommend using Cornerstone for home remodeling. Allen is a good listener and doesn't push his own ideas - he let us shape the design of our kitchen and provided his professional opinion where needed and when requested. My wife really wanted a huge island.. Allen was a bit apprehensive, but he rolled with it. The design renderings matched exactly what we had described verbally, which was great - didn't require lots of iterations to get it right. We found him and his team to be very trustworthy, respectful, professional and they took pride in their work. The tile guys were outstanding, as was his electrician. We needed to harvest and reuse some of the flooring to accommodate the different kitchen layout, as our existing flooring is not available any more.. the flooring guys did an outstanding job - you can hardly tell where they patched. Zoe and Ian were really great - nice, friendly guys who do excellent work and make sure to clean up afterwards. The cabinet design lady nailed it, but we had a few glitches with getting all the cabinets completed satisfactorily and to our design spec, but got there in the end. For appliances, Allen had us work with Ferguson. The communication and responsiveness from Ferguson was not very good, so it took several back-and-forth emails and time to get all the information for us to make a decision. In the end, our kitchen looks fantastic and is perfectly functional for our family. The 4 star rating only reflects that there were a few issues (albeit minor) along the way - I reserve 5 stars for a perfect experience with no issues. We do have a major issue with our range, although this isn't a reflection on Cornerstone.. In the end we were recommended to get a 48" all-gas Dacor, and it didn't work well at all. It's probably the worst performing oven I've ever used (and I've used a lot). After 3 months of back and forth we are finally getting it replaced with a dual-fuel version, but that requires some electrical re-work. Ferguson really came through in the end with switching the range out, but it has taken a long time, and has been quite a frustrating experience. Thankfully, Allen, Zoe and his electrician came back to help coordinate the swap and do all the necessary work - great customer support and focus from Cornerstone.

We have really enjoyed working with Allen and his amazing crew! They have been kind, understanding and professional! They even managed to pull off the rock climbing wall we requested for our kids' play area! The sky is the limit with Cornerstone😁 Easy five stars for this establishment!

Cornerstone Builders of Beaverton Oregon, rescued our kitchen remodel from another company who messed it up, took our money and left us without a kitchen. We've spent the last year having Cornerstone at our house building us our dream addition, after they helped us design and plan it. There is no doubt in my mind that we chose the right team for our very large complex project. There may have been a cheaper option (but not by much from the three bids we entertained), however, the commitment, quality of people and workmanship exceeded our expectations. I'm an Interior Designer, and I hired Cornerstone to do my own home. It was a complete gut and remodel. They were efficient, courteous, and their work was solid. I definitely threw some curve balls during the process, but they didn't falter! I also appreciated that they respected me as a design professional and didn't bulk if I gave them unusual directives.
